Vedat Gashi (CLD 4), an attorney, is 100% in support of comprehensive reproductive health care. First elected to the County Board of Legislators in 2019, Gashi knows how important it is for women of all ages to have unfettered, safe, and private access to health care. Therefore, as Chair of the Westchester Board of Legislators, Gashi oversaw the vote to strengthen Westchester’s clinic access law. In sharp contrast, Gashi’s opponent worked in the Astorino administration and, like his former employer, is anti-choice.
